About The Course

PRINCE2 (an acronym for PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is a de facto process-based method for effective project management. Used extensively by the UK Government, PRINCE2 is also widely recognised and used in the private sector, both in the UK and internationally.

2017 saw an update to the PRINCE2 qualification for the first time in eight years, following feedback from the global PRINCE2 community.

New guidance and exams have been released, with the updated syllabus having a stronger emphasis on:

-The core principles of PRINCE2

-Ensuring flexibility within PRINCE2 so that it can be tailored towards the specific needs of a project

-Re-evaluating the ‘themes’ guidance to include examples on tailoring

-The clarification on the link between these themes and principles

-Applying PRINCE2’s guidance practically, with hints and tips on how to achieve this

The PRINCE2 2009 courses and exams will be available until the end of the year, but you will no longer be able to sit the 2009 exam after 31 December 2017.

Our fully-accredited e-learning allows you to learn at a pace that suits you, at home or on the go. The course also includes support from an experienced PRINCE2 trainer. It is ideal for anyone looking to train in their own time, pace and location to suit them. It takes around 10–12 hours to complete. The e-learning is broken into bite size sessions, combining leading edge multimedia and interactive exercises for optimum enjoyment and knowledge retention. This course conforms to the PRINCE2 2017 syllabus.

Upon completion of the PRINCE2 Foundation e-learning course you should be able to:

-Understand key concepts relating to projects and PRINCE2

-Understand how the PRINCE2 principles underpin the PRINCE2 method

-Understand the PRINCE2 themes and how they are applied throughout the project

-Understand the PRINCE2 processes and how they are carried out throughout the project
